Additional Ice Time Opportunities for Basic 4 Level Learn to Skate Students Enrolling now

The Yarmouth Ice Club, in conjunction with the Bog Skating School, is launching an
exciting new Skating Program for the 2013-2104 season. It is called the Bridge Program and it
is designed for skaters ready to move beyond Basic Skills and the traditional Learn to Skate classes. Skaters will work on
curriculum designed by the US Figure Skating Association. This curriculum includes components
such as stroking, edges, turns, spins, and jumps. This is a great way for skaters to advance their
skating skills in a small group setting with a YIC coach and progress onto private lessons.
The Program is open to Basic 4 through Freestyle 6. Of course, skaters can always continue in
The Bog Learn to Skate Program at these levels as well; or they can do both Learn to Skate and the Bridge.
The Bridge Program will run concurrently with the Bog Skating School Learn to Skate schedule on
Saturday mornings on the mini rink 9:00am-9:50am. There will be 35 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes
of supervised practice. The cost of the session is $219 for 9 weeks, $170 for 7 weeks and $147 for 6
weeks. This is payable to YIC. A $17 annual registration fee is due to The Bog. If your child is skating in a
Learn to Skate Session and the Bridge Program, there is only one annual registration fee due.
